I wanted something with more coverage for long days outside and this has been a good choice. The brim, neck flap and adjustable cord all work well together. The stitching looks neat and the hat has held up well after several weeks of use.

My daughter picked the pink style and was excited to wear it right away. The brim is wide enough to shade most of her face and shoulders, while the long back section covers her neck. It is a little larger than a normal hat, but that is what gives it the extra protection.

I packed this for a warm-weather vacation and it was one of the most useful things I brought for my child. It covered her face and neck well, stayed secure with the chin strap, and folded into our bag without taking up much room.
