I wanted something for short camping and fishing trips without having to build a permanent truck-bed setup. This gives me plenty of sleeping space, decent headroom and good weather protection. It packs away easily when I need the bed for normal use again.

I have used it on three trips now and the material and stitching still look good. We had some wind on the last trip and the tent stayed stable after I tightened the straps. The double-layer setup is useful when the temperature drops at night.

We had several hours of rain overnight and the inside stayed dry. I made sure the rainfly was pulled tight and did not have any problems with water coming through. It was also nice not having water collecting around the bottom like with a regular tent.

I tested it at home before taking it camping and I am glad I did. Once I understood the straps and poles, setup at the campsite was much quicker. It fits my truck bed well and feels roomier inside than it looks in the photos.

Used it at a state park for one night and slept surprisingly well. With the outer layer off there is plenty of ventilation through the mesh, and putting the rain layer back on gives more privacy and protection at night. Setup is pretty simple after you have done it once.

Overall I really like the design. It is easier for me than carrying a large traditional tent and I like using the tailgate as part of the sleeping area. Just make sure you measure your truck bed before ordering because getting the right fit matters.

I keep this packed in the truck for weekend road trips. It saves me from searching for a perfectly flat spot to pitch a tent and everything packs back into the carry bag without taking up too much room. For two adults it has been comfortable.

The first time took me around half an hour because I kept checking where everything attached. The second setup was much easier. The tent felt secure once all the straps were tightened. I would definitely recommend doing a practice setup before your first trip.

Bought this mainly for fishing weekends when I only need a simple place to sleep. Being off the ground is a big plus, especially when the campsite is muddy. The mesh gives good airflow and I can sit up comfortably inside.

Took this out for a two-night camping trip and it worked really well. I like being up in the truck bed instead of dealing with wet ground. There was enough room for two sleeping pads and a couple of bags, and the rain layer was easy to add when the weather changed.
