Ultralight Outdoor Camping Ground Mat & Gear Tray – Portable Moisture-Resistant Organizer for Hiking, Camping, Seating and Small Item Storage

After a few camping trips, this has become a regular part of my setup. It is useful as a dry place for small belongings, a quick seat on a log or rock, and even a temporary wash or sorting tray. It packs down small enough that there is no reason to leave it behind.

I was skeptical about how often I would use it, but it has stayed in my camping kit since the first trip. The tray shape is especially handy when preparing food or sorting small equipment, and the flat version is useful whenever the ground is wet.

I used this beside my tent to hold my keys, charger, knife, lighter and other small items that normally disappear into different pockets. The raised edges help keep everything in one place, and when I am done it folds back into a very compact bundle.

The corner snaps are simple and turn the flat mat into a shallow tray in seconds. I use it to keep my phone, headlamp, snacks and small gear off damp ground around camp. It is light, compact and much more practical than I expected.

It is very small once folded and easy to hang from a backpack with the carabiner. The material is thin but appropriate for an ultralight item. I mostly use it as an organizer next to my chair so I do not have to put everything directly on the ground.

This is exactly the kind of small accessory I like for camping. It does not feel bulky, the snap corners are easy to fasten, and dirt rinses or wipes off quickly. I would not use it for carrying heavy items, but for small gear it works very well.

The size is good for one person and it takes almost no room in my backpack. I have used it as a seat pad on rocks, a clean surface for snacks, and a small tray at a picnic table. The included clip is useful for attaching it outside the pack.

I like products that do more than one job without adding extra weight. Flat, it works as a small sit mat. Snapped together, it becomes a useful organizer for cooking tools and random camp items. The fabric also wipes clean easily after use.

This works well when I want somewhere clean and dry to sit for a short break. It is not a padded cushion, so I would not expect thick comfort, but it does a good job separating me from cold or damp surfaces and weighs almost nothing.

I bought this mainly as a lightweight seat pad for hiking, but I have ended up using it as a small gear tray just as often. It folds down very small and clips easily to my daypack, so it is easy to bring along even when I am trying to keep my load light.
